Themed weddings are gaining land and they provide couples the opportunity of planning the wedding with specific design and decorations. But if you don’t want to take the cake to that level, you can have the simple cake with pirate inspired toppers. Just put little pirate figurines all over the tiers and the lower layers can be decorated with treasure chests, gold candy coins and skeletons. You will successfully incorporate the pirate life in your wedding cake.

Online you can find lots of pirate cake toppers and no matter the style of the cake, you can still make it blend with the entire scenery and theme. The classic bride and from toppers can actually be dressed up like pirates, if you would still like to keep some of the tradition. For a true inspiration, choose to flavor the cake with rum and thus you will be incorporating the favorite drink in the cake as well. There are many designs to choose from and you can choose to decorate the cake however you want.
