Hearts can be designed on paper, then covered in parchment and then traced with royal icing and transferred on fondant. Just imagine a sweet pink cake with ivory hearts covering it around. The cake can have a square shape or round, according to how you prefer it.

Some couples choose to release white doves at their wedding, as doves mate for life. No wonder why they are also considered symbols of romance.
