Tasty Wedding Cakes

Some weddings are getting really weird these days, aren’t they? This is because we all are different and perhaps some couples don’t like the fancy idea of a wedding, with elegant flowers, dresses and with simple wedding cakes. Some like to be adventurous at their wedding and they pick all sorts of themes. We know that some of the themes can refer to Disney characters, some to sports, Halloween even and so on. But how about a zombie wedding cake to go with a spooky wedding theme? It is definitely something unusual and perhaps not many really put it in action, but it is not impossible.

One way to get a zombie wedding cake or an impression of one is to buy zombie cake toppers. You can find plenty such products to purchase, either online or in stores. They sure look creepy, but they are perfect for horror movie fans. What were the odds that both the bride and groom like the same category of movies and both decided to dive into such a wedding idea? It doesn’t mean you can’t have a simple, classic and elegant white wedding cake; just add some toppers to make your point. You can have a couple of them, the bride and groom can be on top of the cake and some monsters can appear to climb on the cake tiers, trying to eat the couple’s brains or something.

In some funny cake toppers, the bride is usually dragging the groom to the altar. Well, there are cake toppers that do things differently, the groom can be the zombie dragging his bride in his layer. Well, enough with the cake toppers, as you probably got the point by now, let’s see some cake designs that are indeed creepy. Think about a grave looking wedding cake. It can be made with a broken wide fence around it and on the tiers there can be some tombs and some hands trying to get out. Combine white with black and white and have a bloody wedding cake, as zombies do eat brains and like to kill, right?

To seem like the cake has been eaten in some parts, as it was the zombie’s target, just bake a simple cake and in some parts make it seem like it was bitten. Inside the cake can be filled with raspberry, strawberries and other red fruits, so it appears the cake has a brain of its own.
